Stunning pair of early salt and pepper shakers made of sterling and cut glass. These are coming from a wealthy local estate where they were passed down in the family. The sterling has a gold vermeil wash. Fine quality glass body that looks and feels like rock crystal. Would look great on a dining table. No maker’s mark, only marked sterling. Each measures 5h. Condition: Both have a very small minor chip to the outer edge, very hard to tell, does not feel rough. Gold has washed off over time. Slight cloudiness to interior. One has slight lean. All wear consistent with age and use. A very nice pair. This item is in the category “Antiques\Silver\Sterling Silver (.925)\Salt & Pepper Shakers”.
