They are NOT weighted. These are quite rare… I could not find another pair like them! The base of each shaker features a ram’s head with horns; each foot of the shaker’s feature a ram’s hoof. Made by William B Durgin Co. Stamped on the bottom rim STERLING, 62 and BIGELOW, KENNARD & CO (retailer). In excellent condition given their age. One of the finials is slightly askew/lists to one side. Faint scratches on the bottom commensurate with age and the nature of used Sterling. The lids pull on and off with ease. Acquired in Alexandria, VA estate sale. Dimensions of each: 5″ H x 2.5″ W (base). Weight : 231 grams (8.1 oz) combined total for both shakers.
