We are offering for sale a fine quality Georgian silver trencher salt pot made by a lady silversmith. This salt pot has an octagonal form with later chased decoration. One side bears an engraved crest of a dove with olive branch. The pot has been made from the purer Britannia Standard silver and bears appropriate marks. This is a really lovely salt cellar that benefits from being in excellent condition with the major benefit of having no damage (definitely no holes to the edges) nor any repairs. 7.4cm x 5.9cm (2.9″ x 2.3″); 2.8cm (1.1) high; 46grams weight.
