Elegant plain design, an early example of the changing taste from Victorian ornamentation to simpler and functional aesthetics in late 19th-century. They have screw lids, each standing on three ball feet. All free from inscriptions or monograms. Original Birmingham antique box, the interior has wine colour velvet and silk lining. HALLMARKS : Birmingham, SILVER fineness 925. MAKER Nathan & Hayes (George Nathan & Ridley Hayes). DIMENSION : Diameter 3cm (1 1/4). Height 4.2cm (1 3/8). SILVER WEIGHT : 39.5g combined.
