A very good quality pair of modernist solid silver salt cellars and spoons. The salts are hallmarked for London 1983 and the spoons 1981 both the salts and spoons carry identical makers marks VMH for Vera Mary Honeker of Surrey who made and retailed unusual pieces from her shop on Old Street London. The salt cellars have been superbly designed having blue glass liners and the spoons are richly gilded. They are in superb condition being free from dings splits and repairs. The salts measure 1.5 inches (3.6cms) tall by over 1 inch (2.8cms) across and the spoons 3 inches (7.7cms) long by 5/8ths of an inch (1.8cms) across the bowls. They have a combined weight of 90 grams including the glass liners and 47 grams excluding them. Superbly designed rare examples.
