A very good early twentieth century sterling silver Five Piece Condiment set in fitted Case. The Set comprises:- Two Pepper Shakers, Two Open Salt Cellars, A lidded Mustard Pot and three associated Condiment Spoons. The Cased Set weighs 815 grams. The sterling silver content weighs 256 grams. The Pepper Shakers stand 8cm or 3 1/2 tall. They are balustershaped with banded rims and stand on four Pull-off pierced domed tops. The oval Salts are 6cm or 2 1/4″ x 4.5cm x1 3/4″and stand 4cm or 1 1/2. They have fluted rims and blue glass liners. The mustard pot is 8cm or 3 1/4″ fromhandle to spout, and stands 6cm or 2 1/2″ tall. Hinged shallow domed lid with thumb piece and scrolled and created handle. All five pieces are hallmarked for Birminghan, 1925, maker’s mark of Aidie Brothers. The Mustard spoon is similarly hallmarked. The two Salt Spoons are Walker & Hall hallmarked for Sheffield. All pieces are in very good, clean and crisp condition. The silver is undamaged – no bumps or bruises. The Peppers stand straight and the tops fit neatly. One tiny nibble to the rim of one of the glass liners, otherwise all good. They come in a stylish fitted Case which is in poor condition.
