This is a pair of early 1900s Philadelphia sterling silver salt and pepper shakers made and branded by the famed department store, John Wanamaker. These beautiful pieces are made of non-weighted solid smooth silver with fluted sides and no monogram. The hallmarks on the bottoms are “JW eagle 925/1000 Sterling”, and there is the design number 067. You can scroll down to see more photos. This collectible pair measures 5″ tall by 1 3/4″ across the bases. They weigh 2.9 oz (84 gr) together on my little scale. They are in very good condition, with normal signs of use and some tarnish. There are no bends, dings or dents. The dark areas you see are reflections from my camera.
