Lovely scalloped border to the lid top and bottom. Both the lid and body are fully hallmarked with matching marks. Additional registered design number on the base’Rd 5768. They are free of any personal monograms or crests. Heavy for their size. A superb pair of 107 year old antique silver Art Nouveau pepper pots. Of Calcutta (Offices in Eastcheap, London & Calcutta, Delhi & Simla). Base diameter: 5.7cm (2 1/4). Height: 8.2cm (3 1/4) approx. WEIGHT: 95.4g combined. CONDITION : Excellent condition for its age.
