Excellent pair of Victorian sterling silver salts or dishes, fully hallmarked in London in 1877 with the makers mark C S H (little bit overpolished) which is Charles Stuart Harris. Boat shaped with reeded decorated rims, handles and pedestals, and gilded inside. They are in very good condition and can’t find any dings on the bodies. One of the gilt interiors has more wear than the other and after nearly 140 years there is a bit of surface usage, otherwise they’re a nice clean pair. The width is 5.5/8ins or 14.2cms and the height is 2.7/8ins or 7.3cms. They weigh 175.6gms.
