A quite fabulous early 20th century hallmarked silver pair. It has an attractive shape. It is unengraved and always has been, definitely no erasures either (refer to image). Here we have a quite exceptional and quite lovely pair of silver pepper pots of very good gauge and weight. Hallmarks are a little rubbed though legible. Each lovely item is 4 inches in height. Assayed in Birmingham, 1899-year letter z. Makers are the silversmiths Walker and Hall. Definitely one for the collectors! A truly wonderful antique lot well worth owning. The condition is excellent and all it needs is to be used. Would make a very nice present indeed. Each lovely piece is of exceptional quality and is a most delightful piece of hefty table silver. Weight of actual silver is a good 88 grams (2.83 troy ounces), each piece is made of very thick gauge silver throughout.
